The Association for Women in Communications, Santa Barbara is the premier organization for communications professionals on the Central Coast. AWC-SB is committed to professional development, networking, and empowerment for women at all stages of their careers. With the help of chapter members and other community leaders, the all-volunteer board of directors organizes monthly meetings about current developments in technology, practice, psychology, and communications ethics.

About this event

On Saturday, February 15 at 11am, join other AWC-SB members and be inspired by other powerful women. Moderated by Madelyn Hammond, the SBIFF Women's Panel offers an opportunity to hear award-winning producers, directors, writers, and costume designers talk about their work in the movie industry as they share insights into their career paths, their challenges, and satisfactions. The women's panel at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival is an annual tradition for AWC-SB members.

AWC-SB members free with RSVP. Guests are welcome to purchase their own ticket and join us. Meet at 10:45 am on event day, beneath the marquee in front of the Arlington Theatre.

Followed by a no-host coffee/lunch near the theater.
